Get to Know Dr. Paul Renner

Dr. Paul Renner grew up in Waukesha, WI, and he’s dedicated to helping others achieve their dream smiles. For him, the best part of his job is his patients and being able to build unique relationships with them, built on mutual respect and trust to help keep people smiling, is incredibly rewarding. With nearly a decade of experience in dentistry and counting, he can’t wait to make new connections while providing essential care for his community.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Both of Dr. Renner’s parents were dentists, so he essentially grew up in the dental field. He also spent a lot of time as a patient and had many compassionate providers, which allowed him the chance to see the profession in such a unique perspective. He loves the fact that he can combine art and healthcare to help people, and he strives to provide the highest quality of care for his patients every day.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Renner attended Marquette University for his undergraduate degree before studying at their School of Dentistry for his dental doctorate. He later worked for two years in Chicago and six years at Anderson Family Dental. He’s undergone countless hours of continuing education to become trained in various topics like implants, endodontics, extractions, and all forms of general dentistry. Dr. Renner is also a proud and active member of several professional organizations, including the:

  • American Dental Association
  • Wisconsin Dental Association
  • Greater Milwaukee Dental Association

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Whenever he isn’t at the dental practice addressing pearly whites, Dr. Renner spends much of his quality time with his wife (whom he met while studying at Marquette), their daughter, and their two dogs named Rhaegar and Kurama. His hobbies involve watching Wisconsin Sports, endurance running, working out, and hanging out with his family and loved ones. One interesting fact about him is that he was born in Seoul, South Korea, and was adopted at a very young age.
