For many people, today is a day off of work and school. And with the slow, steady snow this morning, I think many of us are thankful not to be driving in it! But, today is not just a day off. We use this day to remember Dr Martin Luther King Jr. and the influences he had on our country during the Civil Rights Movement, protesting racism and promoting integration and equality. Many people now celebrate this holiday by providing acts of service for their communities, promoting the arts, volunteering and of course, re-telling his famous “I have a Dream” speech.
